Tomorrow I’m travelling to London to record a programme for Radio Four with Michael Rosen. We’re going to be talking about Byron’s Hebrew Melodies at the London Library. I want to tell the story of how Byron’s publisher, John Murray, effectively appropriated these poems from Byron’s Jewish collaborator Isaac Nathan.
MSc in Book History and Material Culture
